Sick Policy
Please help us keep our therapists and clients safe!
When your child is not feeling well, their performance in speech therapy is impacted. If your child has a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, or has at least one symptom of illness (listed below), please contact your speech therapist to cancel your therapy session. Your child must be symptom- and fever-free for 24 hours, or have a note from their doctor in order to resume therapy. You will not be charged for missed sessions.
Symptoms include: persistent cough, sore throat, diarrhea, vomiting, runny nose, rash, conjunctivitis (pink eye), ringworm, head lice, and other contagious illnesses.
If your child or anyone in your household has tested positive for, or been recently exposed to COVID-19, please contact your speech therapist to make alternative arrangements for therapy until everyone in the home is symptom-free, and has tested negative.
If your therapist is unable to attend a session due to sickness, they will notify you as soon as possible, and attempt to reschedule.
